He breathed the word and stars popped out...

God's love is meteoric,
His loyalty astronomic,
His purpose titanic,
His verdicts oceanic,
Yet in his largeness
Nothing gets lost;
Not a man, not a mouse,
Slips through the cracks.
Psalm 36

Blessed to have a real LORD...

Gad delivered the message to David:
"Do you want three years of famine,
three years of running from your enemies while they chase you down,
or three days of the sword of God -
an epedemic unleashed on the country by an
angel of god?...

David told Gad, "They're all terrible!..."

He Alone Satisfies...

The Israelites took one look and said to one another,
man hu
(What is it?)
They had no idea what it was.
So Moses told them, "It's the bread God has given you to eat..."
Exodus 16

...Aaron and Hur held up Moses hands, one on each side...
Exodus 17

When David realized that he had been recognized, he panicked,
fearing the worst from Achish, king of Gath.
So right there, while they were looking at him,
he pretended to go crazy,
pounding his head on the city gate
and foaming at the mouth, spit dripping from his beard.
Achish took one look at him and said to his servants,
"Can't you see he's crazy?
Why did you let him in here?
Don't you think I have enough crazy people
to put up with as it is without adding another?
Get him out of here!"

Outwardly wasted, inwardly rejoicing in His Grace...

experiencing so much hate.

lack no good thing...

The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord
lack no good thing.

Everyday is a New Beginning...

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all---
how will he not also, along with him,
graciously give us all things?

When one has nothing left to offer...

Paraclete

He brings to remembrance the words of Jesus.
He reveals the wealth and riches in Christ.
He opens our eyes to the promises for us in Christ.

-when one is left empty-

A Blessing :D

Kiss the Son ---
Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.

~Psalm 2~

You have filled my heart with greater joy
than when their grain and new wine abound.

I will lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

~Psalm 4~

In Your Presence...

This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

~1 John 3:16~

There is no fear in love.
But perfect love drives out fear,
because fear has to do with punishment.
The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

~1 John 4:18~

Look ahead with joy.
Anticipate what I'm creating:

Before you call out, I'll answer.

Anywhere on my Holy Mountain

I'm So Glad I've Found You

Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.

~Psalm 37: 5~

The world is truly full of treasures
none of its beauty is denied
where to go or what should i do
is simply for me to decide

Much of nature now revealing
as I slowly trail along
Feeling only sweet contentment
while proceeding on my way

Such a pleasant soulful day!

Never Too Late...

... for new beginnings...

Too close to where we stand
Just in time for a miracle to come

~@~

The people procrastinate.
They say this isn't the right time to rebuild my Temple,
the Temple of God.

How is it that it's the 'right time' for you to live in
your fine new homes while the Home,
God's Temple, is in ruins?

Because while you've run around,
caught up with taking care of your own houses,
my Home is in ruins.
That's why. Because of your stinginess.
And so I've given you a dry summer and a skimpy crop.
I've matched your tight-fisted stinginess
by decreeing a season of drought,
drying up fields and hills, withering gardens
and orchards, stunting vegetables and fruit.
Nothing—not man or woman, not animal or crop
—is going to thrive.

Here's what I want you to do:
Climb into the hills and cut some timber.
Bring it down and rebuild the Temple.
Do it just for me. Honor me.
You've had great ambitions for yourselves,
but nothing has come of it.
The little you have brought to my Temple
I've blown away—there was nothing to it.

This Temple is going to end up far better than it started out,
a glorious beginning but an even more glorious finish:
a place in which I will hand out wholeness and holiness.

I am about to shake up everything, to turn
everything upside down and start over from top to bottom
—overthrow governments, destroy foreign powers,
dismantle the world of weapons and armaments,
throw armies into confusion, so that they end up killing one another.

~Haggai (The Message Translation)~
